Do you remember Lucy’s sneak peek from a few weeks ago? She’s a Newfoundland/Great Pyrnees mix, and her family has been incredibly patient to see the rest of the photos I captured of their sweet girl… we had her session a whole month ago! But as luck would have it, they’ve planned a trip down to San Diego very soon! So even though their photo session took place at their house in Portland, they’ll get to experience the same “grand reveal” that all my local San Diego clients get to enjoy! Yay! I’m so excited to welcome them in to my studio so we can have a great time exploring through Lucy’s photos together!

Anyways, since her family has already waited a whooooole month, I thought a second sneak peek was in order. Plus, that means I get to share more photos of Miss Lucy!

Here she is on her family’s back deck, which was all “decked out” (haha) for Christmas.

Lucy is so big, I think I could take twenty close-ups and still have a few details left over to capture! I love the random coloring that her Newfoundland dad & Great Pyrnees mom combined to create. Whether it’s a flash of white in her wagging tail, or a tiger-like pattern on her back, I think Lucy’s fur is just beautiful.

And a blog post about Lucy just wouldn’t be complete without snuggles. I mean, haven’t you always wanted a 140-lb teddy bear?

Lucy, I wish you could join your parents & sister here with me in San Diego. But since you can’t, I hope they bring back some of our warm southern-California weather for you to take walks in! :)
