Sneak Peek: Domino & Gumbo ~ {Pensacola Beach, FL Pet Photography by Allison Shamrell}

Here is the Sneak Peek from a fun session with Kimberly and her Boston Terrier mix Domino, as well as Sally and her shih tzu Gumbo! As usual, these are just a few photos from what I’ve edited so far… but they’re definitely some of my favorites!

Let me tell you what – the weather really did its best to keep us from having a session! We had to reschedule to get away from a dark, cloudy sky, and then the wind practically pushed us off the beach once we finally got out there! But Kimberly and Sally were troopers, and Domino and Gumbo were up for anything! We had a great time and I’m VERY excited to reveal all the images.

Lucy & Beau ~ {Panama City Beach, FL Pet Photographer Allison Shamrell}

If you’re looking for fabulous, you came to the right place.

Picture this: a vacation condo at one of America’s most popular beaches.

A bubbly, single woman who’s game for anything and all about having fun.

Two miniature poodles with fittingly proper names.

A photographer capturing them all relaxing at home and on the beach.

If it sounds like Hollywood and the posh life, I agree! And it’s the life Lucy & Beau (and their mom, Barb) actually get to enjoy! Check out the images in the video and the photos below. And then let’s grab cocktails and sit by the pool.

My loyal readers will remember this last combination of photos. I already posted it in the sneak peek, I know. But it’s so cute, I figured only one appearance didn’t do it justice!

Sneak Peek: Britney & Toto ~ {Gulf Breeze, FL Pet Photography by Allison Shamrell}

I had the most difficult time with this Sneak Peek. It was really quite hard for me.

I just couldn’t choose which photos to use. And while I’m still far from done with all the editing, I just know this session is a special one.

Here are a few photos, and I can honestly say that they are totally random picks. Usually I choose my favorites for sneak peeks, but asking me to choose the best images at this point is like asking a dog which patch of sun he’d rather lay in. “Uhh, they all make me warm and happy!” Two of these photos show the bond these two girls have with their dogs – Emma has Britney the black cockapoo, and Kate has Toto the little yorkiepoo. And let me tell you, all four of them were even more adorable in person. I absolutely cannot wait to go back to their house for their ordering session! Thanks again for a fabulous session, ladies!!

Sneak Peek: Lucy & Beau ~ {Panama City, FL Pet Photography by Allison Shamrell}

I had the privilege of spending Thursday afternoon with these fun little poodles! Lucy is the red one and Beau (short for Beauregard) is the white one, and let me tell you what, these dogs are fun! Their owner and I could hardly stop laughing the entire session, because these pups are so people-friendly and eager to please. They’re only in Florida for a short time, so I’m glad I had the chance to meet these little guys before they head back to freezing cold Indiana. Enjoy the sneak peek!

Chauncey the Pomeranian ~ {Dauphin Island, Alabama Pet Photographer Allison Shamrell}

If the title of this post doesn’t make you want to read it, I don’t know what will.

I tell you what, this dog loves his mama! He never stopped looking to her for direction- so much for my for my commands! Chauncey wouldn’t sit or stay for anyone else, and it was really very touching. This little five-year-old is well-trained, but loves the beach so much (no fear, no way) that he got soaked before I could even get one shot! So we laughed about how these would be “really natural” pictures. And in my opinion, there’s nothing more genuinely beautiful than a dog having a good time at the beach, anyway.
